Attributes are aspects that make a brand have an identity. It is a set of concepts and sensations that it wants to transmit to the clients.

One of the key priorities for a successful brand is a consistent presentation which everybody recognizes straight away.

Irrespective of where and when someone encounters the brand, be it a client or business partner, in print, mailing or catalogue, he/she must always feel the same way:

The choice of colors consisted of three main criteria: representing the honest and innovative personality of the brand, the company’s differentiation among its competitors, and the essential attributes to meet its high-standard clients.

The 3 variations of beige remind us of gold or wood.

Typography is a powerful tool in the development of creative identity and is a key element to create a cohesive look across all communications. Using a typeface consistently makes it recognisable; it pulls together communications and makes them more distinctive. The style of type we use to bring communication to life sets the tone of your brand: clean, modern, stylish, distinctive, and legible. Selected fonts are a great combination of a very versatile sans-serif family with 9 weights: Nexa.

CHALLENGE

AND

INSPIRATION

Once upon a brand…

storytelling is the power behind brand purpose

The challenge of this project was to seek an identity, trying to unite the attributes of the brand and its name. I started by researching where the name ODYSSEY came from. The name comes from a story that tells the adventures and misfortunes of a warrior king, between the graces and wrath of the gods. And who was that King? Odysseus, Creator of the “Trojan Horse” was responsible for the entry of the Greek army, ensuring the success of the battle. Considered a great hero of his time, his greatest characteristics were: to overcome adversity, avant-garde, wise, artful, strategist, and idealizer. With all these attributes, matching with those of the brand, he was the perfect inspiration in the construction of the visual concept. But how to join this, with the operating market of the brand? After rack my brains and drawing a lot on paper, I came to the union of two important elements.

CONCEPT

The symbol of the brand represents a modern isometric figure of a building and the helmet that Odysseus wore in his battles.
